Numbers and letters after the size describe load and speed ratings. Share these too, along with any additional markings such as XL or run-flat information. A clear sidewall photo can help if you can take one safely.
Check the affected tyre
Front and rear tyre sizes can differ. Read the tyre that needs attention rather than assuming all four are the same. The vehicle registration is also useful when confirming a suitable replacement.
If the sidewall is hidden or unsafe to reach
Do not crawl beside traffic or move a flat vehicle simply to get a photograph. Call with the registration and location and explain what you can safely see.
